C1 Listening Studio
Terms of use
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms describe the current rules for using C1 Listening Studio. Some legal, contact and policy details are pending finalization and are identified below rather than assumed.
1. Account access
Students sign in with their own Google account. New public accounts receive the Student role only. Users must provide accurate account information, keep their sign-in session secure and must not use another person's account.
Users must not attempt to gain administrator privileges or access another person's records. Administrator roles and protected account controls are managed by the service.
2. Learning service
C1 Listening Studio provides English listening practice, educational content, saved progress and results. Scores, explanations and progress information are learning aids; they are not official examination results or guarantees of performance.
Only educational content published by an administrator is made available to students. The service may preserve first and later attempts so students can continue exercises and review their learning history.
3. Account administration and suspension
Administrators can manage student access, class membership, published educational content and account status.
A suspended account cannot access protected application features. Its stored data is preserved while suspended, and suspension is not the same as deletion. An administrator may later reactivate the account.
4. Acceptable use
Users must not disrupt the service, probe protected content, attempt to access private answer data, scrape unpublished materials, interfere with another user's account or submit unlawful content through feedback features.
5. Account deletion
Students can permanently delete their own account after explicitly confirming the request with the account's verified email address.
Deletion permanently removes the account profile, saved progress, listening attempts, responses, scores and personal learning history associated with that account. Deletion is irreversible. Registering again later creates a fresh account and does not restore the deleted learning history.
Technical, security, backup or legal retention may apply as described in the Privacy Policy; these terms do not promise immediate removal from every infrastructure backup.
6. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how Google sign-in information, student profile data, learning records and limited local device caching are handled.
